I had to send my CPU back to OC UK as the delid had failed. Apparently they use a new method now to stop it happening. The paste they use doesn't dry up allegedly. I use thermal grizzly for TIM but I have some NH-T1. I've heard thermal grizzly can scratch the CPU and there are a couple on my IHS although they are not bad. Should I stick with thermal grizzly or use the NH-T1?

They should do what Arctic Cooling has done and plaster "2019 Edition" everywhere, or "2020 Edition" whichever year it is that doesn't have the defect. Sure, people in the know will be avoiding tubes prior to the newest date, but it was their own fault.

I'm sticking with MX-4 now anyway after this debacle.

I have some on the way I'll see when it was made
