Does Thermal Paste Have a Shelf Life Once Opened ?

I've got Artic Silver 5 and Antec Formula 5, both over a year old. Is it necessary to buy new stuff or does it have a long shelf life once it's opened ?

As long as the cap has been sealed I shouldn't see why not, my Akasa formula 450 has been working fine and I must have it over 2 years now.

The suspension fluid will eventually separate from the material but not for a long time. If it looks ok and not runny then it'll be fine.

I've already got some ArctiClean somwhere but I can't find it.

Isopropyl alcohol is best but hard to get hold of unless you have a specialist electronic parts store near you.

Some chemists might sell you some isopropyl alcohol. My cleaning fluid of choice is a cheap bottle of cd cleaning fluid that contains isopropyl alcohol, been using the stuff for years. No fancy cleaners for me, tight git.
