Hi, I'm having booting problems...(thought these had gone away after I reinstalled the OS a few months ago). MB is ASUS P5NE-SLI.
I have a 3 OS multiboot (XP and 7 on disk0; VISTA64 on disk1):-
All was working then (without any changes or moves)
7 boots up after an age (disk light goes on/off at one second intervals);
XP blank screen
VISTA64 says winlogon missing.
Disconnect/reconnect SATA disk cables and it APPEARS to be working again.
My guess is there's a problem between MB IO controller <-> SATA cable(s) <-> disk(s).
Can only think its heat/use related; but when it boots in XP it runs fine.
Guess I should replace the SATA cables first. (disk0)
