I'm looking to upgrade my 5800x build with a 9800X3D build does this mobo and ram look ok or do you recommend something different?

Looks fine to me as im thinking much the same coming from a 5900x

But i know its a lot of money moving platform to Am5

Has to be done though...

Nothing wrong with your choices but you can get the MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI for £210 with 4 m2 slots and 5gb lan

Would I be better off spending a bit more for a X870 instead of X850? which model would you recommend please max budget of £300 for the motherboard
