Hi guys, Building a PC hopefully in a week or two. I have all the parts I need (I think) however before I buy them I want to check 2 things:

1) Do all the parts work in harmony
2) Are there any parts which would be better or equal that are cheaper?

Cheers Guys...

CPU: AMD FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor
GPU: MSi Radeon R9 270X Gaming 2GB
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler
MotherBoard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
PSU: SIT 600W Gold Power Supply

Two things jump out,

1) the RAM, get a dual channel (2x4GB) kit for proper dual channel operation.

But it will work with a single stick if you are planning to add another later on?

2) The PSU, just don't, its the most important bit of the PC and a good quality PSU from a reputable manufacturer is what you should be investing in.

Or grab those parts suggested above.

That looks good. Is the Graphics Card better than the one I picked? Also the PSU I said I already have from an old PC so would rather use that if possible. Thanks

One thing you do not want to do it skimp on a PSU. How old is the PSU? Make & model?

The graphics cards are the same bar the cooler.

The PSU seems to be of poor quality and I would not personally skimp on a PSU as this can course all sorts of issues.

GPU pretty much the same really, always try and use Gigabyte.
