Does this case actually exist?

Hi all.

I will be building a new rig soon and I am having trouble chosing a case. I thought I decided on the Lian Li PC-B25B but now I think £140 is simply too much for me to spend on a case. I could get a blu-ray optical drive in my rig instead which I really want/need.

I have searched for ages and just can't find the perfect case.

Here is what I want;

  1. Under £100
  2. Good looks, aluminium/well built with little/no plastic!
  3. Good cooling with 120mm fans!
  4. Quiet/silent
  5. A normal sized case, no huge towers, etc.

The only other case I have really looked at is the P-182, but it looks huge and apparently has lots of plastic (I'm not willing to spend almost £100 on a plastic case!). I do really like Lian-Li cases but I can't find one for under £100 with 120mm fans.

Are there any cases out there matching my descriptions?

I was in a similar situation to you and was torn between the above a17 and the b25.

In the end I went for the b25 due to better cooling potential, although the a17 does have a fan at the top.

You could get a pc 7 if you don't mind having only 2 120mm fans.

Hmm the A17 does look good on paper but I am not too sure about the front of it.
I might just save a load of money and go for the Lian-Li PC-7B PLUS II.
I didn't realise it had 2 X 120mm fans.
