My wife is starting out as a wedding planner so I've made her a website in Wordpress, just want to know what people think of the colour scheme. All text on the site at the moment is just temporary and will be rewritten.

edit/ I've changed the theme colours to white, haven't made all the changes yet though but let me know what you think.

I was going for a modern and contemporary look, near enough all wedding websites use light and pastel type colours.

I'll be breaking the site up with pictures and possibly adding a butterfly logo in the same pink if I can draw it well enough or find a free picture.
 
Think I agree, the pink in the logo works well on the black background and is quite striking I feel but the same pink is quite hard to read on the dark grey background of the page.
 
Apparently some charge up to 30% from what my wife has said, not too sure on how it's calculated, it might just be x% on all of the services that the wedding planner has arranged, so say the venue costs £10,000 and the planner arranges it all they'll take a £1,000 cut or whatever percentage they're charging.

Once my wife fully explains it to me I'll make it clearer on the site or just remove it altogether if I still don't get it :p
 
Cheers, I'm still fiddling with the colours on the pages, took me long enough to change all the theme images from black to white :p

I'm going to clear up the text too, that's there as more of a place holder at the moment.

I certainly agree about the logo, I'm going to try and draw one or find a stock butterfly image and tweak it.
