So I want something along the lines of a Sonas/Squeezebox (preferably cheap) but I want to be able to control it via my Android phone. If possible it would be great if it it had internal storage or attachable USB. Also be able to stream Internet radio & Pandora.

Why? Because it is for my outdoor patio speakers. Right now just hook up my laptop to the amp (living room) and use Gmote from my phone outside to control what's played.
Don't really want to be living the PC on at all times just to stream some music over.
Thanks

Cool thanks, I thought it would be out there.
Now just need to figure which one is best for me (money usually plays the biggest part :()
Do all squeezebox's have USB support or is just their latest Touch screen?

Do you think something like this would work with the Squeezebox Duet?

Basically hooking up an external HD to your network. Or does the Squeezebox music have to be on a system with the software?

You would have to hack the dockstar, installing a different os, then install squeezebox server onto it.

The Squeezebox Touch, whilst more expensive would be a lot easier, as the unit itself has Squuezebox Server on it for pulling files from the attached USB drive.

Thanks for the heads up, just want it to work and be simple. The touch can be bought for roughly the same price which is cool.
Guess this is the best option for what I want.
