I`m new to water cooling and just putting a list together.

Does the EK-Res X3 250 reservoir screw directly on-top of the Ek Revo D5 Pwm?

No.

It is a standalone reservoir which a pump would connect to via tubing.

You would want one of these, if you already have a D5 pump ;

Make sure you check the clearance on your case - the mounting bracket raises the pump/res combo up slightly.

Thanks. I have the View 71 case and was looking for a taller reservoir. I haven't bought the pump or res yet so was open to suggestions.
