A recommendation popped up on youtube for a a video by Retro Komodo and his voice reminded me of Peter Jones who did the voice for the Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy. I mentioned it in the comments of his next vid, and it just kind of spiralled from there.

No. Douglas Adams wanted someone with a nice Peter Jonesey type voice for the book and who better than Peter Jones.
