Hi all.

I've just bought an Aorus 2070 and was considering ways to show off the 3 LED fans.

I have a few PCI-E cards plugged in so a riser might be out of the question (I have a EVGA DG-87 case) but how about something reflective?

I mean maybe a slightly angled mirror or something else equally reflective that I could place under the card, angled towards the case window?

Does anything like this exist?

Thank you

Kate.

It could be made for you by someone like Coldzero who is Portugal-based but ships everywhere, unless you can find someone to do it within the UK. He does light panels for floors of cases and stuff like that. Don't think mirrored would be much of a problem. Alternatively research 'one way mirror reflective window' and figure something out with that which would be cheaper.

PCI-e Riser cables would be off the table anyway as they dont make any PCIe 4.0 riser cables, apparently the speed cant be maintained over distance, it would require a cable with some sort of repeater, thats whats stopped me from upgrading to a PCIe 4.0 card.

2070 isn't PCIe 4.0 though.

A simple piece of mirrored acrylic cut to size and fixed diagonally under the graphics card might suit you here. It's worth experimenting as that isn't something you'll find off the shelf.

Not the same I know
But for a bit of a light show from your gpu you can get acrylic rgb led lit gpu support brackets
And have a logo custom engraved on them too
Presumably they are edge lit so the engraving stands out illuminated
Noticed them on some shopping app that ships stuff from china

I did this mod before on a really old build back in 2012 by using highly reflective vinyl. I simply stuck it on and used a sharp stanley knife to cut out the shape i needed. End result was pretty good! Just make sure you use automotive grade stuff as its more scratch resistant.

Thank you everyone.

I've been toying with the DIY mirrored acrylic or the one way mirrored window but I couldn't figure out how to get it angled securely without glue.

But I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Thank you all for your thoughts.

Kate.
