One broken engine mount, slightly past its best!

I had one replace on the mini, easy job on the Vauxhall?

Yeah, it's not too tough, I replaced both left and right. To be honest, I'm not fazed by too many jobs on the VX. Most of the time comes from removing the undertrays and wheel arch liner and getting the car safetly raised and supported as there is only one jacking point, which raises both wheels on one side in the air.

ouch what mileage you got on that vx to have gone through a mount so early?

i had to replace one on my mates car it had only done 37,000
so thinks it down to the way the are made
all parts are made to a budget now adays

45k, a lot of people have them going very quickly, 20k and less...

Vuaxhall won't recognise it as a problem but one hell of a lot of cars have had failure, at my mileage it's almost the furthest anyone has gone on original mounts!
