true that it just depends how much OC he wants to do, obviously the E8400 will be higher (since better batch yet same architecture and assembly line). The E8200 is known to reach the 3.6 mark

I've never really pushed it too far because i dont trust my cooler, i have an arctic 7pro but its fallen loose a couple of times and caused my system to do a thermally shutdown. I achieved 3.2 easily, even with my mATX, which i thought would be a limitation. one a have the cooler secured with some decent compound i think 3.4 would be a sensible level to OC.
