Is there any thing you would change better value for money don't want to spend to much also need a cheap graphics card any recommendations I am not a serious gamer so doesn't need to be that good just enough to play most newish games. Mainly video editing photoshop etc

if you dont mind not going with intel. the new phenoms are great value at the moment.

I've included a graphics card as well which can be run alongside the motherboards onboard graphics.

aaaggghhh too much choice which way to go intel or amd I have always had amd due to price difference.
Would it be worth waiting a month or two and see if any prices drop and get a Q9550 or go with a amd tri core which would save money and put towards a better mb etc.
In two months I should be able to go to £800 problem is my Dell is dying on me not done bad for the last 2 years though

the problem with these computer things is there is always going to be something new, and prices of the current stuff will always drop so its not really worth waiting for certain products to get to a set price point becuase as soon as you are about to hit the buy button you will see that X product is almost in your reach and the waiting begins again.

there are exceptions, for example if a new range of gfx cards are about to come out the old ranges' value drops through the floor but you get my point

Set yourself a budget that you are happy to spend be it 500 or 800 or 1500 whatever and get the best you can at the time. if you are looking at the 500 range I would go the amd route, prices are just too awesome.

all IMO of course
