i have no idea how i can tell the difference the Mobo manual shows that all the slots are the same

I have changes the ram to the recommended slots on the motherboard

the manual says that It should work in dual channel with the new layout

can you confirm that all the cables are correctly plugged in ?

And I will work on cable management when im happy everything works.

Looks to me that they need to be in the same colour slots?

Switch it ON.

Double check the front panel connector wires.

If the Power/HDD LED's dont work, just swap the polarities around.

RAM in the red slots, in case that wasn't clear.

Stick all the cables round the back, then forget about it
