Does this monitor

I have one almost Identical, the S2209W and it does have a source button, so chances are this one does too. I use mine for the same, PC and 360, 360 running on VGA and PC on DVI, just press the button to switch between them. Easy :)

Yes the SP2309W does have a source button.

it also allows 1:1 pixel mapping if you want to run it at 1920x1080.

you may want to check out something a bit more multimedia orientated like the LG M227wd or M227wdp as they have a more standard native resolution than the Dell and optical out if you plan to connect to an AV amp.

If you are sure you want the Dell I would also higly recommend checking out the full spec (and price) on Dells website

Hmm those LG's look pretty good too. Would I get black bars top and bottom from playing my xbox ? the screen is really more of an upgrade for my pc. but wil be using a 360 on it from time to time. there is also this http://overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MO-039-OK as a cheap alternitive. the cheaper I spend the better ofcoarse but I don't really have a budget, I do however have a 42" bravia that I use as a secondary monitor and for the 360 and tv.

If you turn off 1:1 Pixel mapping it will fill the screen, with it on you will get a black border.

There are three options Fill, Aspect and 1:1.

If you leave it on Fill all will be fine.

I got this a while ago, But where is the aspect ratio thing I can change ? This monitor is great. Black bars on everything though except my xbox. so I'm guessing I have to change the ratio from within my pc ?
