Does this Sata pci-e card run at full speed?

Having some sata issues. I would like to buy a pci-e sata card to solve my issues.

I'm confused from the specs if the card will run at full speed with all 8 sata ports in use?

I'm hoping it runs the exact same speeds as my motherboard.. It's for stablebit drivepool, so I don't want slow speeds when it's spreading my data across most drives

Note:

PCI-E must have a slot above V2.0, V1.0 will not exceed 250M, PCI-E can be X1 or X16 as long as it is V2.0 version, there is spare X16 slot directly into X16 slot on.
BOIS setting of the motherboard: SATA mode should be changed to AHCI, although some motherboard PCIE is version 2.0, but BOIS does not enable high-speed transmission mode by default (gen2 high speed mode) needs to be manually turned on. In PCI-E 1.0 mode, only 200- 250M, 2.0 mode is below 350-400M. If you don't accept it, change the motherboard.
When the SATA port is used at the same time, it will slow down. It is not suitable for users who are pursuing speed. It is only used for the extended hard disk interface.

Depends on if you're using SSD or Mechanicals.

It sounds like it's a PCIe v2 card, and it's a x1 slot size.
Meaning you're probably going to have a maximum theoretical throughput ~500MB/s on all drives combined.
A single SSD will saturate that.
Definitely wouldn't cope with 8 mechanical drives going all at once either, though their speed can vary quite a bit depending on brand/range.

A PCIe v3 card would double the available bandwidth.

Having your drives spread over 2 PCIe v3 cards, 4 on each, you'll probably still retain full speed, if they're mechanical.
You'll probably want to look into the specs of the drives you have/do some benchmarks, to see what speed they perform at, and calculate how many drives you can squeeze into your PCIe speed limits.
 
I'm using mechanicals WD Red Nas drives

I only have 2x PCie and one is for graphic card

Could I put 4 on the Sata pci-e card and 4 on the motherboard Sata ports? Or can you only use one or the other?

Some motherboards have restrictions on which SATA ports can be used in conjunction with other hardware (like m.2 slots or USB3.2), check your motherboard manual.
Otherwise there aren't any restrictions, you can use motherboard SATA with PCIe expanded SATA. Since you're not using hardware RAID it won't matter.

As long as the card you get is PCIe v3, it should cope with 4x WD Red. Only 2 drives on a PCIe v2 card.

Though, I don't know anything about this DrivePool software you're using, but it sounds like a software JBOD implementation. In which case you might not even need all drives running at 100%.
 
Thanks, your correct about drivepool it doesn't stress all drives at once so I should be fine.

I'm searching sata port pci-e "V3" and not finding anything.... Should that be 3.0 vs V3?

I didn't have any mind, but yes PCIe 3.0 is the same as v3.
That one looks like a PCIe v3 card, claims 1700MB/s - so should easily support 5 of your drives.
The slot is a little bigger (x4), so if your spare slot is big enough then that'd be a good card to use.
