• Competitor rules

Please remember that any mention of competitors, hinting at competitors or offering to provide details of competitors will result in an account suspension. The full rules can be found under the 'Terms and Rules' link in the bottom right corner of your screen. Just don't mention competitors in any way, shape or form and you'll be OK.

does this sound a bit iffy?

"Should I enter into a new transaction with a company that is in adminstration?"

No, no you shouldn't.

If they weren't in administration then sure take the punt on the £100 GPU but handing over a 3-figure sum to a company that could be wound up tomorrow sounds pretty risky to me.

In general I'd echo everyone else saying walk away but it's your choice. Buyer protection from the well known auction site or the equally well known payment service (if that's what you used) is still voluntary from their side at the end of the day. Buying new over £100 with a credit card is covered by law if anything goes wrong. That would probably not be the case though if you settled for a refurbished card so it just comes down to can you throw away £100 if this goes wrong. If it does though the warning signs were all there.

A used one is that price. At least you get some warranty with it
Not really, was a used gpu in a anti static bag, no warranty implied as listed as a new card, would they honour any repair? They are in administration they could be wound up tomorrow. You get not as described return via ebay, about it

Buyers protection with eBay and then 180 days warranty with PayPal.

Read the administration bit after I'd posted, I probably wouldn't because of that, just incase it does go south
