Does this temperature seem right?

Intel i5 3570k - 3.4ghz
Zalman CNPS-5X Multi-Format CPU Cooler I think.

PC is running a browser with youtube, and steam. 25c weather today.
Usually around the same temps while running almost any game.
Jumping from around from 44c up to 51c every 1-2 seconds.

Have applied new paste to the cpu twice. Only a little, size of a grain of rice. Have checked, and it's spread nicely.

Doesn't seem right though?

Anyone? spent a while to try and figure this out myself, but with no luck.

Your GPU also seems quite warm, so maybe your case air temp is more than 25c? 44c for desktop work isn't too bad.

You say you've checked your thermal past spreading- have you checked your mounting and backplate mounting? Also, a grain of rice seems a bit tight, maybe more like a pea sized amount?
