Does using 3D Vision affect FPS?

Title says it all. Just ordered myself the BenQ 24" XL2420T TRUE 120hz 3D Monitor with 3D Vision 2.0 kit bundle and wondered wether I should expect an fps loss. My Current monitor is 22" 1920x1080 so I doubt I would lose fps as It is going to be the same resolution however I wondered wether 3D May cause it?

Hmm okay, with my current setup I usually get 60 fps - don't know what exact fps I'm getting as I only have a 60hz monitor with the 120 fps I should be able to see. That way I should know whether to lower some game settings or not
