Does ventrilo work in vista? - Because its not working for me - Help Needed!

Hi there please can you help, when I connect to ventrilo it makes an awfull sound and I cant hear people speaking because of a terrible screaching sound, but team speak works fine on the same PC which makes no sense?

I have Windows Vista ultilmate 32bit x86 installed with service pack 1 and all updates.

Also when I go to the offical website: http://www.ventrilo.com/ it's not very clear which download to get? So I choose this one: "Windows i386 - 32bit - Win2000 and newer (Version 3.0.4)" and it installed ok, and I set it up and put all the information in and join my friends server, and I can see everyone on the server and joins their channels but it just makes an awfull noise.

Try running it as admin.

Works for me but you do need it to running as admin.
