Does Vista Limit Ram

I'm looking at upping my ram by another 2Gb to make it 4Gb, the only worry i have, is think i heard or read some where that Windows vista 32bit limits total ram to 3.5GB. is this right? the rams is DDR2 and cpu is AMDx2 64 4200 Dual core.

It's nothing really to do with Vista as such.

Every 32bit OS will limit memory usage to ~3.5gb, whether it be Windows, linux, Apple, whatever.

As cob says, but you would still be able to see an additional 1.5gig so its worth the upgrade, go for it
