I have completed a clean install of win 7 (32bit), from vista. There were a few problems unnoticed by the upgrade adviser, I need new AV, drivers for the HP 9100 printer, Nvidia graphic card and Pareto data recovery, which worked fine under Vista throws up a BS of D every time I try and start it up.
None of this is a big deal and is now fixed; apart from the data recovery software, which is annoying and the manufacture is no help at the moment. I’m left mildly irritated by the completely unhelpful “upgrade adviser”. Also during boot up sometimes the graphic driver (which is the latest win 7 version) crashes but recovers. However each time I boot up the OS gets smoother and faster, so I guess it just needs to “settle in”
And the oddest thing I can’t fathom is if I try and play around with customizing the desktop I get another BS of D, this happens every time. Has anybody else had this issue?

intel E6850 3.00 GHz
