Does windows 7 xp mode support xp hardware?

If i have a printer that wasn't supported in windows 7 professional x64, would the windows xp addon help in a situation like this or is the addon just for software side only?

so long as it's usb then it will work fine in xp mode.

Have a few questions about XP Mode and didn't want to start a new thread, hope you dont mind...

Is XP Mode on the 64bit version of Win7, 32bit?
Is it only usb devices which will work in XP Mode?

Does that mean that i will not be able to use a PCI card which does not support 64bit drivers in in XP Mode?

usb hardware only. and yup, it's 32bit xp.

i'm still trying to get over a USB printer not working in windows 7... that's just bizarre!
