Does X38 / X48 Support SLI

Silly question i know, but i've only just really reciently been thinking about this.

I have a GB X38-DQ6 and was wondring since its branded as a cross fire mobo, does it actually suport SLI in all its glory being that there are two PCI-E x16 ports?

X38 does not support SLi.

only Nvidia chipsets (680i, 780i, 790i etc) and intel's skulltrail support SLI

correct as I found out after purchasing the motherboard :-(

I was going to do 2* BFG 8800gts, had one already, then found out only crossfire requires ATI gpu :-(

so I'am using only at one 8800gts

PS iam waitng for the new Intel CPU range off CPUS at 4th quater off the year, purchase a new m/b , cpu etc, then I will go for the newist Nvidia GPU, by then price drops :-)
