Does X99 Sata have an issue

Very uninformative..non specific report but where theres smoke...
does x99 have a sata problem?
the main point of its value to me was using all 10 satas

I think you can use all the ports but only the first 6 can use RAID. Think there is a YouTube video with the ASUS rep that says this.
