does your bike have a name?

I must confess when igot my first bike at the star t of this year i named it (secretly and only to my self) Libby, short for liberty because it was the first transport i'd ever had and it really was a taste of freedom.

later i did tell my girlfriend and she mocked me mercilessly for it >.< but then after she got wiped out, the er6 from the insurance got named Erin by the gf after misreading the name (yes she was a bit dim)

So now i've got my new bike i kinda want to name it but can't think of one

What have you named yours if you have and is it something you only call it when you're flying down the road or do other people know you have?

Nelly, why?, because ive been riding naked muscle bikes for decades, & they tend to feel & behave like hefty hefalumps in the corners.

Gixer was called Febe (FBE number plate)
10R was called Nina (ninja)
675R is called Dorris.. after the sheep. The bike is white and Welsh

My missis names all of my cars and bikes... lol bless.

Mine doesn't have a name, but I do tend to giver her a pat on the screen after a journey.

My first bike I bought from a friend who told me her name was Kate. I did have a ZZR where the advert wanted someone to cherish the bike, so whilst I didn't name that one I suspect the previous owner did.
