Almost had a food disaster last night...my pie ALMOST flipped upside down as i was plating up my food!

Food should always be the right way up. And to go even further, crisp packets have to be opened the right way up. This means when you look at the label, you can read the writing.

Could you imagine a quiche upside down? /shudder.

The only food I eat 'upside down' is crisps. Flip the bag 180 degrees because most of the flavour settles on the bottom so when you do that it should coat all the crisps evenly and they should all have a consistent taste. Sorry I just have OCD when it comes to stuff like that.

Couldn't agree more, who on earth eats an egg sunny side down?!

Over easy eggs rule! It also requires the egg man to do more for your eggy pleasure.

Presentation of food is extremely important and can turn a good meal into a great one.

Lol at the soup comment!

Anyone you see eating a chocolate digestive with chocolate side down must be treated with the utmost suspicion.

Not really that bad; but when I get a plate of food, I always have to evaluate it and turn the plate till I'm happy with the layout.... Yep, I'm a freak! :D

But I love pie upside down if you stick it on top of a pile of chips. :D Once you cut it open, all the sauce falls out across the chips then. :) With mash, it needs to be upright to the side though.

I find when I eat a sandwich in bap form, or a McDonalds, about half way through it actuallys becomes easier to eat if you turn it upside down for the last few bites. It kind of stops it falling to pieces, especially a Big Tasty style burger.
