Just tried the Steam beta client & game actually now runs but there is no sound
:confused:

, mine is DVD version not download, going to fiddle around to see if I can get the sound on

The ingame sound is working fine for me

My was the DVD version as well..(I added the key to steam)

Found the sound problem is also common, fixed it by altering audio hardware acceleration

Looks like a Steam update just fixed this. I can't test it myself at the moment though.

Steam did a little update, you need to select the beta participation in settings to put it back on
