Mine does. Only had it a few days but it sags slightly around the hip and shoulder area. Just want to check if this normal before I sent it back.

It has a sprung base mem foam top.

Mine is as level and fresh as the day a delivery gorilla plonked it on my doorstep, thrust an electrical doodad in my face and grunted "Sign dis, mate."

Memory Foam is the spawn of the devil! :D
I just couldn't get on with the one I had, and went back to sprung.

ive had memory foam and also sprung with latex, both are garbage, my sprung with latex lasted the longest, at 11 months. after that the latex just sunk into itself, and created a slope that would force you off the bed.

the memory foam one lasted around a month before it would not return to its original shape.

refunds both times, although i do hear sometimes you just get a bad one, and that they are in fact great, my mate has a memory foam one, and him and his missus love it, they have haed it two years.

in the end, i went with a pocket sprung (high density) horse hair padded one that cost me an arm and a leg, but it is pure luxery.

Mine does on one side, was a real pain. Turned the mattress after a few months and the other side is perfect. My girlfriend will sleep anywhere and swears she doesn't notice it. Problem solved but wouldn't buy memory foam again.

If I sleep on the same part of the bed for several nights in a row I do notice that the bed feels firmer on the other side so I move across the bed every few nights. One advantage of having a king size bed and being single!

hmm, I was considering getting one of these memory foam topped jobbies but think i might just stick with pocket sprung!

Memory foam sucks. I absolutely rue the day my missus bought ours. I cannot wait until we move as I have purposely purchased a bigger bed as an excuse to get rid of it.

But anyway, it should sag a little. That is the point of it. I is supposed to 'remember' your sleeping position.

We have a pocket sprung with memory foam topped mattress and it is amazing, without doubt one of the most comfortable mattress I've slept on. It wasn't cheap though at £750 and it hasn't sagged and we've had it a few years now.

No that isn't the point of it. It remembers your sleeping position via the heat from your body, not because it sags as it should return after you get out.

If you are a hot sleeper and sweat a lot when you sleep then a memory foam mattress can degrade due to moisture and not return to its original shape.

The more expensive ones tend to be latex memory foam and dont suffer so much from this problem.

One solution is to use a mattress cover with a moisture barrier but if you are a hot sleeper like me this will cause you to sweat like a dog in heat thus interrupt your sleep. Besides if the mattress is already starting to sag it is likely that the damage is already done and using such a mattress protector will not solve your problem.

Send em back and get something else. Someting like a nice high density pocket sprung. You will be cooler and comfier.
