Does your other half appreciate your DIY efforts?

I mainly get criticised for my absence rather than praised for my results.

I am not allowed to do the washing anymore as apparently putting everything in the washing machine at 30c quick wash is not good enough.

Well I'd agree with that! I've tried to ban quick wash cycles from both washing machine and dishwasher as everything comes out less clean and you have to put some stuff back through anyway, though I am a bit OCD about cleanliness.

Mrs Icebear is generally happy with my efforts now she's gotten used to a 5 minute job taking significantly longer.

That doesn't read smutty does it?

If you meant it like that I guess it would be the other way round
