I used to. It demonstrated to me how much I've contributed.

However, as a mod and admin I've done more than I could have as a normal poster, so not any more.

are all of yours posts or have you 'won' some as well.

^5 for being honest.. I can't believe that there aren't more than this to be honest. It was for me when I first stated posting but once it got past 2k i lost track.

The post count is an attraction to competitve response so of course it matters to most.

I was pre 2002 on the forums before the nuke. My join date is Oct 2002, same as most of the pre-nuke crowd. It's just nobody knows who I am as all I ever do these days is read.

Nothing worse than getting into a thread, realising someone else has just verbalised exactly what you wanted to say then quoting it or giving it "+1". It just adds nothing.

If I ever got to a thread before it was 50-60 posts long I'd probably contribute more. Think I only ever created 1 thread on here too, actually maybe 1 other one trying to get Werewolf's attention to sort an account problem I had.

between 1000 and 5000 it didn't matter to me one bit but I quite enjoyed getting to 5k because I think christopher walken absolutely rules.
