Hi Guys,
My brother is looking into getting into mining dogecoin, which is similar to bitcoin. The heavy lifting for mining is done by the gfx card and the motherboard, and cpu and memory etc are barely utilised.
I need help on specing up a budget motherboard, cpu and memory in order to host whatever gfx card we eventully get.
Can you offer any recommendations if you have set one of these up before.

Much appreciated

firstly, i would consider other scrypt currencies also. not just set your mind on one.

secondly, it may be best to use the crypto currency sub section we have on the forums for better advice.

Yeah I think you will need 4 / 8 / 16 GPU's to attain a reasonable hashrate that has any hope in finding you a decent amount of coins...

280X seems to be the most popular mining card, due to very good performance per £
