Just thought I'd post a picture of my dog that decide he was going to come sit with me by my pc this morning.
Normally he lives outside (he gets to hot inside) but he decide to come sit and chill for a bit. He's a Pyrenean Mountain Dog and is about the right weight at 12 stone :O. His name is Arnie.

Do you not have his hair cut to keep him cool indoors? How does he fare in summer?

No he gets a trim every now and then, mainly brushing he just chills out in the shade and he has his own fan in the garage (thats where he sleeps, its all his). He lives outside all year round he prefers it and comes in the house when my mum is out (He's heavier than me as well)

LOL you would he's name arnie after schwarznegger as he destroys all that is in his path! To give you some idea of size when he was a puppy he was bigger than a labrador and thats a large 3 seater sofa behind him.

12 stone, now that's a proper dog!

We had 2 Belgian Shepherds until a month ago, but unfortunately one of them passed away.

The other one is still going strong at 14 years young though!

A good metre, he's tall enough to see on the kitchen sides lol he's big for his breed though

Our Boxer is 3.4 stone, can't imagine him being 4 times bigger!

He does make up for that by being absolutely mental though.

Well its all fun and games when the postman comes.... he goes crazy! lol We never get trick or treaters either as they always run off hehe.

Yer you're right, he's well behaved on the lead and off but he won't play fetch, he just looks at you as if to say, sod off mate you threw it, its your own fault.

When our cocker was a bit older she never used to play fetch of anything like that. She had the same nack of looking at you and making you feel a complete idiot
