Went to Hellfrauds to pick up my new bicycle (18ish miles) and came straight home.

Totally forgot NOT to do what i did next, but i went to get the box out of the back of the car, and felt a tingling sensation on my leg, followed by the scent of singed hair...

Yep, lent my leg up against the car whilst i was struggling to get the box out, so i've got a nice 5x3 oval imprint on my leg now :(

Bloody painful it is too! For some reason i never really thought anything of it, certainly didnt think it would be hot enough to do that, then again its the first time i've unloaded the car... in shorts :(

Ouch that looks nasty from the pic. If it's painful you want to get yourself to the docs. My mum had a burn from spilling a takeaway curry on her leg and it all blistered up .

HeH.. unlucky Phil..

Not quite as bad.. as my schoolboy error on thursday night.

Making a stainless exhaust for my tractor, had the pipe in the vice on the bench.. heavy end to the left, welded end to the right..

For some reason I undid the vice without holding the pipe.. que the scorching hot welded end lifting up in the air with my arm / elbow above it " ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH "

Turned into a mahoosive blister the next day, having to go to the docs every few days to get some special cream and dressings done :(

OK, you're winning so far. I need to find the pics of when i nearly busted my shin on a starter handle.

I really hate burn injuries - when I had one on my fingers (blowtorch to a lighter = boom!) it looked small but took ages to heal, KILLED, and smelt terrible.
