Doing Recovery Disc on computer

Am i the only one, or do any of you guys get happy/excited at the prospect of doing a recovery disc on your computer. For me it gives me a chance to have a fresh computer and as fast as the day i bought it (brought whatever). Install what i want again and get away all that rubbish as well. Its awesome tbh.

I just don't format. Saves time

Formatting does improve performance though. Seen it many times on different PC's.

Just have enough power so it doesn't matter

my i7 pc seems slow somtimes but after i leave on till late at night doing nuthing next morning its really fast. maybe it indexes over night
