Doing the same wu twice?

If my pc looses internet connection near the end of a wu then it will get to 100%, but then it start the same wu again but at half the speed. When i look at my stats it doesn't say that its failed any! Can anyone help?

what wu is this? 8070 or 8071? this is all im ever getting, once the net reconnects does it then start a new wu? even with no internet it can finish the unit as it only needs the net to upload and download a new wu.

ive had nothing but these wu for a long time nowm, i finish a 8070 and then get another 8070, sometimes for days on end, then it'll chuck a 8071 in there maybe!

im guessing its finishing the wu, when the net reconnects it will upload and then download another wu the same

Its a smp not a gpu one i've only done 8071 on the gpu, 6944. Is the one that it is doing twice. Once it reconnects it carries on doing the same one till its done then starts a new one

Do you mean you're getting exactly the same Run, Clone and Generation for that WU or just WUs of the same number but different RCG? The latter is entirely normal as they are not the same WU. I've seen the former precisely once in six years of folding but even then it wasn't on the same PC.

It the same project and the same number of points, and if it isn't connected to the Internet but still going through completing it, then i can't be a different one can it? And the first time it completes it doesn't register on the stats and i don't get any points/credit.

We can't answer properly until you do your bit and tell us if it's always the same Run, Clone and Generation. There could be 100,000 WUs with the same number and number of points but different RCG.
