What are the current cards out that do DDL?

I'm having trouble tracking one down

HDA X-Mystique

I think HDA are bringing out 2 new cards soon which support realtime DTS, so you might want to wait for those.

What about the Terratec Aureon 7.1 PCI with Dolby Digital Live ...

Stumbled upon this card quite by accident, yet to do proper reading up on this so any input would be appreciated.

Looks like it uses the same C-Media chip as the X-Mystique and Turtle Beach Montego DDL, but they don't list it so I can't be certain.

The specifications certainly look the same.

Really not sure what to do... I could go for this soundcard or I could upgrade to a Abit AN7 which has the SoundStorm chip that does hardware dolby digital encoding ... for less money...

How much can you get that card for?

With the card you can obviously keep it as you upgrade.

Its a competitor so no.

See your point ref the later upgrade if\when required.

Anyone else care to offer any technical differences.
