Dolby Vision / Ultra 4k - Disney plus

Hi all

On Disney plus streaming my content appears in dolby vision. Does this mean its streaming in 4k?

Im sure it use to come up saying ultra 4k.

In the TV settings it doesn't saying anything about it being in hdr etc.

It's an LG CX.

My understanding is that Dolby Vision is Dolby’s HDR technology that offers scene by scene instructions for HDR whereas “normal” HDR just sets a general “level” for HDR.

With Disney+ your TV will play it automatically based on what your TV can handle. As a above, Dolby Vision is HDR, its a type of Dynamic HDR and arguably "better" hence by default Disney+ will use DV if your TV can support it, which the LG CX Can.
