Domain Expiration

I have an idea for a domain name.

After checking the name isn't available currently but it expired in December 2005.

Anyone any ideas how long the grace period is for renewal please ?

Is it .uk or GTLD (com/net/org)?

it's a .co.uk

its not necessarily decent, just applicable for someone I know, so won't be any good to everybody
