Hi, its been a while since i had to set all of this up.

I have a server setup (Windows 2008) purely for file sharing within a Windows 2003 R2 domain environment.

I have a share (I:) which works exactly the way I want it to, and a home drive (H:) for each user which maps when logging in.

However I keep getting access denied messages when users try to create a folder or save something to H: (in Windows 7\Vista and even XP).

Currently the security info is setup as follows;

Folder called home with the following permissions.
Authenticated users/Domain Admins/Domain Users/Local Administrator = Full Control...replace child object permission is disabled.

then under that I have a folder for each user using their %username% as folder title.

I have set the user to be Owner and the permissions are set like this;
Creator Owner = Full Control.
Local Admin = Full Control.
Domain Admin = Full Control.
User = Full Control.
Replace child object security is set to yes.

Any ideas, as i am a little stuck now :)

You have two types of permissions: file and share. Have you set both?

Share permissions are under Sharing tab, Advanced Sharing and then Permissions. NTFS permissions are under the security tab.
