Domain Name Questions...

Hi I've just bought a 100mb 3.0ghz Intel p4 HT, 1gig ram, 80gig harddrive, 600gb per month bandwidth dedicated server hosted in the Redbus Interhouse in London Docklands.

I'm currently running my cs server on it and I've installed apache, php and mysql. I want to use my .co.uk domain name I registered and own on it, but how do I do it?

The registrar of my domain name asks for at least two nameservers... how do I find out what the nameservers are on my 100mb dedi? Thanks.

You need to set up domain hosting somewhere. The domain hosts will tell you what their nameservers are

I'd guess there aren't any, unless you install it yourself, or your provider supplies them (in which case, ask them?)

A DNS server would seem the obvious choice.

You could install the BIND dns server, although I think it's rather tricky to set up (never tried myself).
It would certainly be worth checking if you domain registrar provides any dns services (e.g., I know register1 does).
If not, you could use a service like Zoneedit for your dns servers, as it's free & easy enough to set up.
