domain names question

ive been importing products from a company in america and noticed that they do not have the uk domain name registered.

In short does there trademark name in the US mean that I cannot have their uk domain and sell there products through it? as long as i make it very clear i am not an official site / or the company themselves?

its a great domain name regardless of the companies products and i would like it either way but do not want to break any laws.

any advice is appreciated

grab it now anyway and worry about it later

worst case they would contact you and cause a fuss and then you would have the option to take it down

as a seperate issue, why dont you contact them and offer to be their UK distributor

yes I have considered asking about UK distribution but i only run a small company in a very nichee market and think essentially the bigger boys would just come along and swallow me up quickly.
