domain names

I have a friend thats after getting a domain name, to dispaly her art work.
been looking at whats available linziart.co.uk is available but linzart.co.uk isnt and is registered also to an artist. Will this cause a problem?

Or if anyone else can think of a good domain name for an art site.

Can't see it causing any problems, as long as she gives people the correct url for her site it'll be fine.

I expect you'd only be likely to run into problems if the name related to the other domain is registered/trademarked and yours isn't, or you attempt to plagiarise content from the other domain (which I'm sure you won't).

Might even be beneficial to your friend - typos will come her way if the visitors put an extra 'i' in there!

I would say no one will bat an eyelid about the two domains being similar
