just after reading the news on this .xxx domain that they are going to try to push all porn sites to use i thought about domains and realised i dont understand a thing.
what im confused over is say they do bring out .xxx who sells the xxx domains? isnt it a bit like virtual real estate, and how can someone else lay claim to it(.xxx) and then sell it? what if i wanted to put out a zzz domain and sell it what would i have to do?
it just seems like a HUGE con when you dont understand it after all who came up with .com and sold it and made huge amounts of money?
id like to know in layman terms how this works as it seems well fishy....
