Domain Registration Who-Is Privacy

Hi all,

Just registered a domain name and selected Who-is opt-out with daily.co.uk but just whoised the domain and my details are there. Not hidden.

Is it possible to get this changed?

Edit: Found it in their control panel and clicked hide but it still shows on the who.is ?

It's possible they queue the Nominet requests and it will show in a short while. If not, contact them or transfer the domain to someone else :).
 
Ok thanks Adz. Don't think I would want to transfer it, as I only just regged with Daily.

Now I just need to decide on the host im gonna use :S
 
I was about to post the same question. I had also opted for Whois Privacy but my details have popped up.
 
According to my 1and1 Control Panel, my domain is still "Waiting For Approval" so hopefully it'll be removed from whois by the time it's completely active.
 
Any progress with yours?

I landed up calling my hosting provider yesterday and they said the changes will be made, but will take up to 24 hours for nominet or whoever to update the Whois. Well, it's been more than 24 hours now and my information's still up there. Fingers crossed it's gone by tomorrow.
 
Yep at the same time today that I had registered it yesterday the address and details were hidden :)

Was a bit annoying having to wait :D Only seemed to be http://who.is that took a long time to update, other whois databases were done within an hour.
 
Looks like it'll be another phone call to 1and1 :o
