Domain Renewal

Just had a letter from an american company called the Domain Renewal Group telling me that one of my .com domains is due for renewal soon (December 22nd2009) lol

£20 for 1 year
£35 for 2 years
£65 for 5 years

Maybe it's me, but this seems really steep? I actually got the domain for free with Vidahost when i signed up to them.

Are there any other cheaper places to renew?

I'm pretty sure they emailed me a few months before my renewal was due, i just ignored them and renewed with the same company.

**Ignore any e-mails/letters which are not from your registrar**

Google the name of the company on the letter you received and you'll see a whole string of stories about their practices....

Ok, went to my hosting and they want £6.95 a year, i've found a few other places that do it a lot cheaper (mainly in America).

Any recommendations?
