Domain Transfer

I've been waiting since 23/4/07 for my domain to be transferred from PlusNET (my old ISP) to register1. I paid for my register1 services on 23/4 and am unable to use them!

Am I right to be waiting this long?

I think Nominet can force the transfer... but that will ocst me an extra £10 iirc.

It's not. The fee is £10. £80 is the fee for a renewal directly through Nominet (rather than one of their agents, i.e. Plusnet).

I'm assuming of course that it's a .uk domain. If it's a GTLD then Register1 need to initiate the transfer for you rather than Plusnet.

No - retagging a .uk domain is updated on the whois instantly, so they are messing you about.

Try calling them (dont email - it can just be ignored) one more time, if no luck stump up the £10 to Nominet who will do it for you.
