Im trying to run my dominator ram 32gb 3200 mhz but it just doesnt want to play ball.
The closest ive got is 2800 mhz with vccsa at 1.2v and vccio at 1.15v
Any ideas?
I have the latest 1.6 bios on my msi z170 titanium.
6700k is at 1.3v/ 4.5ghz
Also i was getting instability at 2800 mhz using auto vccsa/io settings so im using the values as mentioned which have helped. Any suggestions on these values?
It seems this mobo hates Corsair dominator ram reminiscent of my sniper z68 mobo which also hated it.

Command rate by default is 2T. Ive tried vccsa from 1.0 to 1.3v and even at 2400 mhz system will freeze. Im ok at cas 15/ 2133mhz.
TBH im happy for the stability.
Might get in touch with corsair to swap for cas 10 2133 RAM

Latest update. I got a hardlock after 5 days at 1.15v vccsa @ 2133mhz. Have now upped it to 1.2v. Def getti g more stable. Managed to get some spare Ram in case i decide to change. Bargain. Corsair vengeance 2 x 16gb 3200 for 150!

RMA approved. Have to admit brilliant customer service from Corsair. Theyve agreed to give me cas 14 2800mhz RAM 2 x 16gb sticks in exchange. I couldnt be happier as board runs 2800mhz fine and 2 sticks are a lot easier on the mem controller. Theyre sending me them out in advance.

Nice one - a good result me thinks, congrats.

A final update with a happy ending.
CORSAIR shipped me cas 16 3200mhz 2 x 16gb sticks so wasnt entirely happy as I had been promised cas 14 2800 mhz RAM.
Xmp enabled and heart in mouth switched on pc. Perfect first time boot!
Have done 6 rounds of rainbow six and no crashes :) Noticed xmp setting for vccsa and vccio is 1.256v.
All in all im happy and have returned the 4 x 8gb sticks to Corsair.

2 sticks is the best option for sure in these instances. Probably not IMC issue though more likely a sub timing or RTL the board is setting too tight at Auto.

I am using that kit too at 3000mhz on G1 gigabyte board and its also very sound performance.
