Settle a disagreement OcUK! Domino's Pizza vs Pizza Hut (Delivery)

My opinion...

Domino's Pizza - Greasy, oily mess but is oh so tasty. Better selection of bases. If I'm going to have a takeaway pizza it's best not to pretend that it's anything less than a heart attack in a box.

Pizza Hut - Less greasy and oily. Somehow seems to be a more substantial meal (possibly thicker?). However usually less toppings, worse selection of bases and just seems lacking somehow.

I find Pizza Hut to be a lot more oily and greasy than Dominos. I prefer the dominos range of toppings, bases and side dishes more as well.

Ah, fair enough. Then Pizza Hut gets my vote for being less greasy. I can sacrifice some taste for that.

True... However having lived in 5 different places in the UK over the last 7 years in my experience my statements have been true everywhere.

Hasn't this been discussed to death already on here?

I prefer Dominos as they're marginally less greasy and they tend to do better offers, at least around these parts.

They're not great pizzas compared to a good quality homemade though.

Dominos is better than Pizza hut. Bases are far nicer and taste fresher. Pizza hut are no different to frozen pizzas.

Papa Johns are awful, frozen bases, poor coverage, just poor.

I would take a local (Gills up here) pizza to any of the above. Cheaper, nicer, plus you can get proper chips with them! Maybe not as healthy!

Surprise surprise, the man from Paisley prefers the greasy oily one.

I'm with you though, Dominoes > Pizza Hut. But I very rarely get either, very expensive!

Domino's is massively overpriced, thin as **** pizza with little flavour. Pizza Hut pizzas are thicker, slightly cheaper (although still a bit pricey) and much tastier.

However I prefer a local takeaway, Bella Pizza, over both of them - bigger, yummier pizzas for literally half the price (depensing on which you go for).
